Meet the team
Paul has been a vet for over 20 years since graduating from The University College, Dublin in 1987. In that time he has worked for small animal and equine practices in the UK. He has also travelled across Australia, which gave him the chance to work with a whole host of 'critters'.
Paul enjoys being a Veterinary Surgeon as every day is different and he feels privileged to look after pets because they are an extremely important and precious part of people’s lives.
Outside of work he enjoy the great outdoors, birdwatching and walking his dog with his partner and their two children. I also love going to the races and following the Ireland Rugby Union team.
Augustin has been qualified for 15 years and studied to become a Vet while living in Romania. He then moved to England in 2009 , where he worked in a practice in Reading for 5years before he moved to Bristol and joined our team ! Augustin has been with us for more than 3years and is passionate about exotic's and surgeries. He is also well known with our Rabbit owners.
He has a wife and a daughter and as a family they like to explore nature together.

Hayley is one of our Veterinary Nurse's. She joined us in February 2018 and is our weekend nurse. She has been qualified for 9 years. Previously she was a locum Vet Nurse and worked at a charity hospital which she says was a very rewarding job.
She is currently working towards her certificate and badge as an Oral Dental Care Nurse.
Her main focus outside of work is her 4 year old son which she loves to take away on trips regularly.
Laura Williams
Veterinary Nurse
Angelina joined us in June 2023 as a Veterinary Care assistant after having a complete change in her career.
She has ambitions of becoming a Veterinary Nurse where her passion would be specialising in feline behaviours & feline Neoplasia.
Angelina is a cat lover and has two gorgeous Ragdolls of her own called Gino & Hades. Angelina has experience working for a cat Rescue Organisation in her home country of Greece, every year when she goes back she collects donations to spay & neuter as many cats as they can.
In her spare time she enjoys baking & taking her 2 cats on walks and they may even have a trip to the shops!
Emily joined us in 2023 after moving to Bristol from beautiful Cornwall. She loves that everyday as a Veterinary Nurse is different and enjoys all aspects of Veterinary nursing, from anaesthesia, nurse consults to patient care. She especially enjoys trying to make a pets visit to the vets a positive and enjoyable experience. Emily has a Border terrier named Chip who she brings to work with her and all the staff love.
Outside of work Emily enjoys cooking and going on long walks with her partner and Chippy !
Jessica joined us in 2011 whilst studying Animal Care level2 NVQ and a BTEC Diploma at Filton SAS College as work experience. She has since been employed in the role of Veterinary Nurse Assistant & worked as part of the Receptionist team then became Head Receptionist and as of August 2022 was promoted to Practice Manager.
Jessica loves all the animals that come to the practice and especially their owners, with whom she loves having a friendly chat. She is always interested in what their four legged friends have been up to!
She took maternity leave in February 2018 and had a little girl , but after 8 months she was ready to get back to the work that she loves. Jessica has 2 British Shorthaired cats called Teddy & Peaches who she adores.
Jessica loves a good meal & enjoys trying all different foods but her favourite cuisine is definitely a Chinese! In her spare time she enjoys being with her family & looks forward to their holiday's each summer.
Karen is part of our reception team and joined us in 2011. Not only does she work here, she also works in one of the local primary schools as a LBS.
As a family Karen owns 12 ferrets which they show and also has a cat. She enjoys wildlife parks and zoo's. Her favourite animal is a Gorilla but unfortunately you don't get to see them at the Vets.
Karen is a keen supporter of Speedway and loves to visit her family who live in Cornwall & Devon.
Chelsea joined us in October 2021 as part of the Receptionist team, she has since changed roles and is now our Finance & client service Manager which she enjoys just as much as meeting all the lovely pets that come through the door !
Chelsea is kept very busy as home with her Daughter and 2 dogs named Winnie & Mellow which she enjoys taking for long walks by the waterfront. She also has a cheeky little pony called Rosalie who she takes to shows in the summer months.
When she has any spare time she likes to go to gigs & heavy metal festivals !
Chloe just recently joined us as part of the receptionist team where she previously worked at a lawyer firm but wanted to explore the Veterinary industry. She has so far loved meeting all our patients and their owners.
Chloe has 3 cheeky French bulldogs named Doris, Mabel & Captain who keep her on her toes and loves to take them on evening walks with her partner.
In her spare time Chloe enjoys spending time with her Niece & Nephews as she is that (cool Auntie! )
