Meet the team

Our Clinical Director Sarah officially joined us in February 2024, although she was already a familiar face at the practice.
Sarah qualified from the University of Bristol more years ago than she cares to remember and has worked with small animals for most of her career. Sarah has a particular interest in canine and feline behaviour, as well as enjoying medicine and surgery.
Sarah lives with her husband Mark, 2 young children and ginger cat Hartley. When not at work, Sarah enjoys spending time with her family and friends, heading to the gym, exercising out in the fresh air and cooking/baking. She loves going on holiday, both at home and abroad, and is currently trying to learn some French. When she gets the chance, she loves to relax by playing the piano, although this can be challenging with 2 enthusiastic budding musicians in the house.

Our Head Nurse Cathy joined the practice in 2013 and qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2017.
Harry Potter fans may be interested know that before veterinary, Cathy worked with Neopolitan Mastiffs including Hagrid’s companion Fang.
Her home and her family are most important to her and she loves spending time with her son and her family. Weekends walks and family holidays and time camping make for special times.
She has three dogs, Louie, Bonnie and Stanley, a cat called Tiger, a gecko and a hamster!

Charlie joined the nursing team in 2017 and qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2020. She loves everything wildlife and works closely with the local community aiming to rescue and rehabilitate animals such as hedgehogs and tawny owls.
Her favourite part of her role is looking after animals with long term palliative care needs to give them a quality of life experience for as long as possible.
Outside of work, she enjoys canoeing and adventures. She speaks Welsh and has studied Arabic. She has two lovely schnoodle dogs, Mali and Ed, chickens and an African grey parrot. Charlie also works with her partner Tom who owns a local pet shop specialising in exotic animals.
Born in Cardiff, she likes going home to Wales whenever she can.

Charlotte has recently officially joined our team, she has been with us as a locum nurse since March of 2023, she then made the decision to join the team permanently after being a locum for 3 years at various practices in Cambridge and suffolk.
Charlotte qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2019, after having a desire to pursue a new career within the veterinary industry. She finds inpatient care and peri-operative care of the patients the most enjoyable aspect of veterinary nursing. Charlotte lives at home with her 13yr old son, two American bulldog mixes, 1 cat, and 3 cockatiels. I’m her spare time Charlotte likes to spend time with her two horses, regularly goes to CrossFit, and enjoys days out and spending quality time with her son.
Eleanor qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2019, and has since worked in a variety of veterinary practices before officially joining our team full time in early 2024.
Eleanor’s favourite aspects of nursing are inpatient care, lab work and looking after wildlife patients that need our help.
Eleanor shares her home with her fiancé and their fur babies; Alfie, Bella & Melly!
In her spare time she enjoys playing ice hockey, baking and of course relaxing on the sofa with her pets.

Millie joined the practice in February 2024, wanting to embark on a new adventure of working in the veterinary world. Previously working in a gym as a receptionist, she will definitely vouch that she prefers our furry friend clientele!)
Millie says she has really enjoyed the journey so far, working with such a friendly team, expanding her knowledge, no day being the same and of course… seeing all the wonderful pets and wildlife brought in to the practice daily.
Being a very avid cat lover, she has her own cat called Teddy who is always there to remind her it’s time for food when Millie comes home and maybe a treat or two! She also loves exotics and has previously owned a chameleon called Carlos.
Millie loves nature and going away on short city breaks with her friends. Loves DIY and is partial to a pub garden trip on the weekends.

Becca joined us in April 2024 after a number of years working in property before joining a large animal referral hospital. Becca then moved to a first opinion practice in Lincolnshire and really enjoyed the interactions with regular patients and clients.
Becca loves being able to support the team so they can continue to provide the best care for all animals who come through the door.
At home, Becca lives with her cat Lily, and her husband who she regularly goes to rock 'n roll dance events with.

Ashley joined the team in October 2024, after working in Housing for 18 years.
Ashley really enjoys her Client Care role where she meets many lovely pets and owners.
At home, Ashley has a "crazy" Patterdale who she enjoys walking around Elys green spaces as well as days out with her family.
