Meet the team
Pete joined the practice in April 2024 as the Clinical Director. He's worked as a small animal vet since graduating from Liverpool University in 2001, gaining experience in several veterinary hospitals in Hampshire, before running a practice in Dorset together with his wife Samantha. Pete enjoys mountain biking, tinkering with Landrovers and gardening.
Carrie joined the team in 2021. She has a background in mental health nursing and lives with her two cats, Nephy and Victor. She's only got a year to go until she is fully qualified and is looking forward to her new career in the Veterinary industry.
Hayley Joined the practice in September 2023 which took her into her 9th year of veterinary nursing. Hayley particularly enjoys anaesthetics and critical care, medical nursing.
Outside work, Hayley keeps herself busy by gardening and looking after her and her partners dog pack, which consists of 2 terriers, 2 lurchers, 2 spaniels, 4 beagle x's and 1 labrador, along with their 6 rescue chickens and 2 guinea pigs, Pip and Pop, and their little helpers Gerry and Iyla (human children).
Tina has been employed in the veterinary business since 2000 and joined Companion Care when we opened in 2008. She enjoys meeting people and their pets and in particular German Shepherds and Maine Coons! Tina lives in Breamore with her family and rescue dog Rosie, rescue cat Taco and naughty Maine Coon cross Falkor. When not working, Tina enjoys long walks with Rosie, reading and Yoga.
Emma joined the team in March 2016. She has always been an animal lover and is the proud owner of an accident-prone Lurcher called Roman who sometimes comes to work with her to help at the desk! Emma lives in Salisbury and has been both a dog-walker and dog-boarder in the past. She loves to travel, spend time with family and go on long walks with Roman.
Sarah first worked for Companion Care in 2009 for several years, before leaving for a career in school management, returning as Practice Manager in 2022. Sarah lives in Salisbury with her family, an overweight cat and a dwarf Russian hamster called Vlad, adopted from Pets at Home. When not running the practice, Sarah spends her time travelling.
Tracy has been a veterinary receptionist for 3 years, it's her dream job. She loves meeting people and of course, their pets. She lives with her husband, cats Charlie and Storm and George the rabbit.

I am a VCA which I love as a job! I have a British Short Hair Cat called Henry at home.
I've worked here since January 2024 and much like everyone who works here, I have a passion for all animals. I live in Romsey with my fiancé Brad, two rabbits Charlie and Clover, and my Flat coat Retriever Willow.
Companion Care Salisbury is committed to bringing you affordable, high quality care via a modern, well equipped practice, including a lab, pharmacy, digital x-ray and ultrasound. Plus, we have free on site car parking too!
